Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on Monday, July 13, 2009, Beaton Cuff of St. John’s (Formerly of Musgrave Harbour) in his 90th year. Predeceased by his wife Aletha; brother Max; sister Alberta Brooking. Leaving to mourn are his brothers-in-law Alex Butler (Vera), Harold Butler (Margaret), Arch Butler (Shirley); Sisters-in-law Mary Cook and Ruby Murray (Stuart). Also leaving special niece Marilyn Wakeham (Rennie) and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and then on Wednesday from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Funeral Services will be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Wednesday, July 15th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Interment will be held at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Rd at a later date. A sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of St. Patrick’s Mercy Home for the wonderful care Beaton received while there.
