Passed away suddenly at Carbonear General Hospital, Barry Wayne Mercer, age 47 of Bay Roberts. Barry leaves to mourn with broken hearts wife and best friend Doneka and son Noah, the greatest joy of his life. He also leaves a very large circle of family and friends. Cremation has taken place at his request. The Mercer Family will be accepting expressions of sympathy at Slade's Funeral Home, Bay Roberts on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 from 12 noon to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Flowers graciously accepted or donations can be made in Barry’s Memory to the Hear and Stroke Foundation. A celebration of Barry’s Life will be held at Grace United Church, Coley’s Point on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 2 p.m. Private burial to be held at a later date.
