MURRIN. John J .– Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008, surrounded by his loving family, John J. Murrin, of Logy Bay, age 84 years. Predeceased by brother Dan and sister Ellen Murphy. Left with fond and loving memories his wife of 59 years, Alice (nee Mahon); son Don (Carol); daughters: Paulette (Bob Byrne), Denise, Wanda (Paul Summers) and Debbie (Keith Durdle); seven cherished grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother Con (Margaret) of Bell lsland; also lovingly remembered by a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay. Visitation Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, October 25th at 10 a.m. from St. Francis of Assisi Church, Outer Cove. Interment to follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Outer Cove. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Parkinson Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
