Fenton, Paul Wilson – age 74 of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia died March 2, 2011 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born April 5, 1936 in Yarmouth, he was the son of William and Mildred (Nichol) Fenton. He was a member of the Salvation Army, Yarmouth. He worked with Family Service helping people. Paul was very active in his church. He worked as a nurse in Toronto, Montréal and Digby. He was a graduate of Faith Bible College in Rhode Island. He is survived by wife the former Norma (Montgomery) , daughter Laurie (Gerry) Gehue , Yarmouth, son Scott Fowler, Edmonton, Alberta. Brothers, Lawrence and Allen of Yarmouth, sisters Lorraine Comeau, Grace (Harvey) Nickerson, and Florence Watkins all of Yarmouth. Three grand children, Brandon, Sheneah and Jude and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Fred, Billy and Leslie and sisters Marjorie and sister Beulah in infancy. The remains rested at Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Yarmouth, where visiting hours were held Sunday, March 6,2011 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral was held Monday, March 7, 2011 at 2 pm from the Salvation Army Church, Major Peter Rowe officiated. Burial will be at a later date. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army Church, Canadian Cancer Society or Palliative Care, Yarmouth Regional Hospital.
