Mr. Donald McFarlane of Dutch Valley passed away on March 10, 2011 at the age of 82. He was the son of the late John and Hazel (Arnold) McFarlane and was the husband of the late Phyllis (Dunfield) McFarlane who passed away in 2010. Don was the last surviving member of his immediate family and is survived by his sister-in-law, Judy McCrea (Jackie) of Woodstock; his niece, Sherrey Zarins (Agris) and his nephew, Shawn McCrea (Jennifer); his great nephew, Riley and his great niece, Grace; as well as several cousins. Don is also survived by his special friends: Bill Anderson (Anne) of Dutch Valley and Libby Nash (Dave) of Sussex.
Don was predeceased by his brother, Lloyd and Lloyd's wife Ossie (Osla). Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). At Don’s request no visitation will be held.
A graveside service will be held in the spring with the interment at Trinity Cemetery.
