At the Prince County Hospital, Tuesday, July 14, 2009, of John "Lester" MacLeod of Albany, age 96 years. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (nee MacKenzie) MacLeod. Loving father of Dorothy (Sheldon) MacKinnon, Hampton, N.B., Janet MacLeod (Charlie Doiron), New Dominion, P.E.I., Lorelei MacLeod, Albany, P.E.I., and special friends, Gayle and Troy. Dear grandfather of Jason (Brigitte) MacKinnon, Moncton, and Amy and Jayne MacKinnon of Hampton, N.B. Survived by brother-in-law, Ed Curtis, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Janet (nee Gordon) and Louis D. MacLeod, son, Paul in infancy, brother, Donald, sister, Eva Curtis, and sister-in-law, Mary MacLeod. Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, until Friday, July 17, 2009, from where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Visiting hours Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. Interment in Floral Hills Cemetery.
