JORDAN, Arthur Joseph Jr. – of Ferryland April 29th, 1945 - March 9th, 2011. After a courageous battle with cancer and its complications, passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. Predeceased by his father, Arthur Jordan, Sr., and sister, Frances. Left to mourn, his wife of twenty-seven years, Lana; mother Emma; sisters: Teresa Fox, Bernice Jordan, Doris Pomeroy, Toni Hynes (Wish), Maureen Sampson (Calvin), Cathy Hynes, Elizabeth Buckley (Andy), Wanda Jordan, and Colleen (Perry), Regina (Ray), and brothers: Frankie (Bev.) and Ambrose Jordan, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Also left to mourn, mother-in-law Patricia Vary (Carroll); sister-in-law Wendy Vary; brothers-in-law: Kevin O’Neil (Claudia), Matthew O’Neil and “Uncle” Ted Thomson. We wish to thank the extraordinary nursing staff in MSICU at the Health Sciences for their tender care and guidance during those last difficult days. Thanks also to Chaplain Jean Hall, Dr. Jaimie Farrell, Valerie Lam, and Fr. Roche. Special thanks to Bernice and Fredi for keeping things running smoothly.
