Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex in the presence of his family on Wednesday, July 15, 2009, of Upper Gullies, age 82 yrs. Predeceased by parents Abram and Emily Dawe, brother Philip, sisters Marion and Blanche, son-in-law Sam Butler. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Ruby of 61 years, two daughters: Marion Butler and Joyce Walsh (Gerry), son Leslie (Cynthia); six grandchildren: Darryl (Angela), Jackie (John), Michael, Debbie (Deanna), Brian (Darlene), Lesley Ann; two great-grandchildren: Grace and Ella. Also, nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral service in St. Peter's Anglican Church, Upper Gullies on Friday, July 17, 2009 at 2 p.m. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Upper Gullies.
