Bryden, Ian Campbell
Ian Bryden died peacefully surrounded by family on July 10 at St. Joseph¹s Hospital in Comox, B. C., at the age of 82. Ian was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth, son Shane, and brothers Robert, Donald and Duncan. He is survived by brothers John (Lorrie) and Rod (Sandy); loving father of George (Barb), David (Terry), Shelley (Ken), Kim (Steve) and stepfather of Darlene (Brad), David and Audrey (Jim). Ian will be missed by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Ian left the east coast in his early years and had a full and happy life working in the logging industry in the Cowichan area of Vancouver Island. The family would like to thank the ladies of Cummings House who cared for Ian, as well as Dr. Chow and the nurses of the third floor at St. Joseph¹s Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph¹s Hospital Foundation, 2137 Comox Ave., Comox. B. C. An open house to remember Ian will be held by the family on Aug. 15 at the home of Ken and Shelley Bell in Courtenay from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
