Peacefully at Beach Grove Home, on Friday, March 11, 2011, of Joe Lawrence, veteran of the Second World War, of Andrews of Stratford and Charlottetown, age 87 years.
Beloved husband of the late Jean Lawrence (nee Hastings) and loving father of Ken (Debra), Jo-Ann Gaudet (Bob) and Gail Setchel. Joe is also survived by his grandchildren: Krista, Richard, Ryan and Matthew Lawrence, Bobbi Jo Gaudet, Shauna Cameron (Greg), Kelly Paterno (Jeremy) and Joseph Setchel; five great-grandchildren; brother Ralph Lawrence and sister Rose Schreiner.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Monday, March 14, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 15, at Park Royal United Church at 11 a.m. Interment will follow later at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Joseph W. Lawrence Scholarship Fund or the Charlottetown Y’s Men's Memorial Fund would be appreciated.
