It is with great sadness that the family of the late CATHERINE THERESA LAKE of Baine Harbour, formerly of Oderin, announces her passing at The Health Science Centre in St. John’s on Thursday March 10, 2011 at the age of 69. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Husband Earl of 49 years; Sons Arthur of Sylvan Lake, AB., Rodney of St. John’s, and Paul (Kimberley Ann) of Goulds; Daughter Linda (John) Murphy of Baine Harbour; Brothers Alphonsus (Julia) Jarvis of Mount Pearl, William (Hilda) Jarvis of Mount Pearl, and Morgan Burton of Halifax; 4 Grandchildren Logan, Roxanne, Tyler and Maggie; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by parents Charles & Matilda Jarvis, sisters Margaret Jarvis and Rose Lake. Funeral Mass took place on Saturday March 12, 2011 at 1:00pm from Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Marystown. Cremation followed. In Catherine’s memory, donations may be made to the Leukemia Society or flowers gratefully accepted.
