Whalen, Raymond John – Passed away peacefully at Lisaard House in Cambridge on Friday, July 17, 2009 in his 82nd year.
Husband of Catherine Whalen of Kitchener. Loving father of Raymond and his wife Darlene of Kitchener, David of Kitchener, Patrick (Marg) of Langley, BC, Stephen and his wife Lori of Iowa and Tracy Meigs and her husband Rolland of Owen Sound. Dear grandpa of 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Ray is also survived by his brothers and sisters in Brantford and Nova Scotia.
Cremation has taken place.
A brief graveside memorial service for Ray will be held at Williamsburg Cemetery, 1541 Fischer Hallman Rd., Kitchener, ON Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
