Robinson, Dorothy Kathleen - 80 of Welton’s Corner passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011in Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born in Harmony, Kings County she was a daughter of the late Lester and Ethel (Wharton) Spinney. Dorothy worked the family farm in Welton’s Corner along with her husband Frank, often managing it herself while he was away working in the lumber woods. She was the first female school bus driver in Kings County and was a well-known harness maker. Dorothy enjoyed attending exhibitions and in particular working with and being around horses as well as animals in general. She is survived by sons David (Deborah Theriault-Robinson) and Ronald (Ruth Meister) both of Welton’s Corner; sister Marguerite “Peggy” Clark, Grand View Manor, Berwick and brother Carlton Spinney, Toronto. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Frank; sister Lena; brothers Alva and Hartley. At Dorothy’s request, cremation has taken place. Visitation was held from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2011 in the Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448 where a memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Rev.
