Passed peacefully away at her home in Avondale on Friday, July 17, 2009, long time resident of Bell Island. Leaving to mourn devoted husband Clarence of 51 years, five children: Wayne (Barbara), Mackinsons, Wanda Smith (Peter), Holyrood, David, Ward (Sheila) all of Avondale, Alan (Tammy), Cambridge; six grandsons: Eric, Matthew, Andrew, Adam, Nathan & Christian; 2 great-grandchildren: Nickolas & Kianna; brother Eric (Victoria) Hiscock, Halifax; Uncle Melvin Hiscock (Ella), St. John’s. Cremation has already taken place. Donations by request to the Arthritis Society. Private family arrangements to follow.
