Dwayne M. Cook, of Saint John, husband of Lynn Cook, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at home. Born in Saint John, he was a son of the late Kingsley and Joan (McDonald) Cook. Dwayne was employed at Midas Muffler as a mechanic assistant for a number of years. In later years he enjoyed building model ships and guns out of wood. Besides his wife, Lynn, Dwayne is survived by his children, Dawn, Saint John; Melissa, Dwayne and Jennifer at home; grand son, Michael; brother, Jodie Cook; sister, Charlene (Richard) Harrison; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Kingsley Cook.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Friday, March 18, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The Funeral service will be held from St. George Anglican Church, 100 Watson Street, Saint John West, on Saturday, March 19, 2011, at 11 AM.
