Passed peacefully away at her residence surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, March 13, 2011, Edna Doyle of Northern Bay, age 71 years. Predeceased by parents: Joseph and Patricia Delaney; brother: Jack; sister-in-law: Jenny. Left to mourn, husband: Andrew; one son: Richard (Margaret), Gull Island; four daughters: Angela (Ramsey) Lambert and Debbie (Glen) Driscoll, both of Grates Cove, Marie Meadus (Ron Moses), New Brunswick and Patricia (Keith) Snelgrove, St. John’s; ten grandchildren: Andrea, Keith, Kristle, Keri, Nicole, Lee, Natasha, Emily, Riley and Cody; two great-grandchildren: Andrew and Chloe; four brothers: Tom (Shirley), Raymond (Irene), Andrew (Janice) and Gerald (Lorraine); one sister: Genevive (Cyril) Delaney; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Fr. Pio Sumbilon conducted the funeral Mass on Wednesday, March 16 at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay. Interment took place in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay. Donations in her memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.
