Russell Webster Anthony, born March 26,1935, passed away peacefully at home with his four children by his side, July 17, 2009. “Russie” was predeceased by his father, Frank T. Anthony, mother Sybil M. Anthony (nee Hennigar) and half brother Daniel Anthony.

We will always have many fond and happy memories of Dad, especially his sense of humor and his dedication to family.
Dad had a lifelong career with the Canadian Pacific Railway, where he made many friends and acquired a passion for trains. After retiring, Dad enjoyed weekends at his cottage in Lower Economy NS with his companion Faye Giddens and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his four loving children Kim Forster (Truro), Deanna Anthony (Halifax), Lisa Anthony (Halifax) and Darren Anthony (Truro), three grandchildren: Alyce, Emily and Lucas Forster (Truro), his former wife Lyla Anthony (nee Guier) (Truro) and half sister Kay McNutt (London, Ontario).

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Dad’s favorite charity – the SPCA.

Upon Dad’s request there will be no service.
In his memory, we would like to invite family and friends for visitation at his home 2024 Prince St. Truro, NS on Wed. July 22 from 4-8pm
