It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eustace Lionel Hutchings announce his passing on Sunday, July 19th, 2009 at the J.I. O’Connell Centre, DVA Unit at the age of 89 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Una; children: Ann (Wayne) Ruth, Gerald (Kathy) Hutchings and Marie (Lorin) King; daughter-in-law Anne Hutchings; grandchildren: David, Mark, Jason (Tanya), Jeffrey (Veronica), Stephen, Michael and Justin, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his first wife Nellie, son Danny, sisters Dora and Maude, brothers Stedman, Maurice, Nathaniel and Roland. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. followed by the funeral service on Tuesday, July 21st at 2:00 p.m. from Fillatre’s Chapel, St. Mark’s Avenue with Rev. David Russell officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, Cow Head or to a Charity of One’s Choice.
