Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at Grande Prairie, Alberta on Wednesday, March 16, 2011, Jacqueline Jane Penney, formerly of Arnold’s Cove, aged 42 years. Predeceased by parents Ernest and Emma Penney and infant sister Deborah. Left with fond and loving memories her sister Dawn (Larry Jaravata), Grande Prairie, AB; brothers: John (Sheila), Southern Harbour, Brian (Sharon), Arnold’s Cove, Rex (Linda), Ontario, Howard (June), Portugal Cove and Tony (Beverley), Arnold’s Cove; nieces: Cheryl, Stephanie, Crystal and Melissa; nephews: Howard, Jason, Michael, Christopher, Jacob, Julian and Joel; great-nieces and nephews: Rebecca, Sophia, Skye, Charlotte, Caleb, Nathaniel, Liam and Rylan; special companion Herb of Grande Prairie, AB as well as a large circle of family and special friends in Newfoundland and Grande Prairie. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Arnold’s Cove on Saturday, March 19, 2011 from 12 noon to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 20, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will take place 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2011 at St. Michael’s Anglican Church, Arnold’s Cove with interment to follow at Interfaith Cemetery, Arnold's Cove. No flowers by request. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
