The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, July 20, 2009, of Wayne “Flatty” Clow, of Northumberland Street, Summerside, aged 63 years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of Preston (Shirley) Clow, Summerside, and the late Pauline Wedge. Survived by his sisters, Helen Friesen, Charlottetown, Joyce (Andy) Gauthier, Charlottetown, Heather (Rob) Chaisson, Lower Sackville, N.S., Annette Hogan (Paul), Summerside, Patricia (Duane) Watson, Hammonds Plains, N.S., brother, Randy (Darlene) Clow, Summerside, his Princess Madeline Watson, special friend, Chris Stoodley, Summerside, and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother, Grant Clow, and a brother in infancy. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Thursday, then to the St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside, where a public graveside service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. only. Memorial donations to the Summerset Manor Chapman Centre-Day Program or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
