Passed peacefully away July 16, 2009 in Edmonton, Alberta, in the presence of his loving family, Lawrence Power, formerly of Marysvale, NL, age 80 years. Predeceased by his wife Dorothy 1999; son Patrick 1974 and son Bill 2000. Left with fond and loving memories one daughter Carolyn (Don) Mahoney; two sons: Frank, Edmonton, Alberta and Joe (Emilie), Toronto. Also leaving to mourn six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; devoted sister-in-law Alice (Tom) and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Conway’s Funeral Home, Conception Harbour, Tuesday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Snow’s Church, Marysvale. Interment to follow at the R.C. Cemetery, Brigus.
