Lucille Cormier
1932 - 2011 - Lucille Cormier, 78, wife of Oscar Cormier, of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche and formerly of Bouctouche has passed away peacefully at the Manoir on Friday, March 18th, 2011. Born on October 15th, 1932 in Saint-Paul she was the daughter of the late Donat and the late Marie (Léger) Henrie. Lucille worked as a housekeeper for the Bouctouche parish for numerous years, and did volunteer work for several organizations in the community. She was a member the Charismatic group, and an associate member of the ndsc. Lucille will be sadly missed by her husband Oscar, her three sisters, Annette Babineau (Noé) of Bouctouche, Émélia Allain (Gérald) of Waltham, MA, and Georgia Allain (Gérard) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, her four brothers, Marcel (Jeannine) of Saint-Paul, Albert (Anna) of Gardner, MA, Donald of Middletown, CT., Valmond (Edna) of Waltham, MA, and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one sister Janice in infancy, and four brothers, Paul (2008), Gérald (1997), Alfred (2001) and Jean-Eudes (2010).
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Monday, March 21st, 2011 from 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2011 at 11:00 am with internment in the parish cemetery. In Lucille’s memory donations can be made to the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche.
