Frank Wilson Ferguson, 87, on Sydney, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Daniel and Margaret Anne (Holmes) Ferguson.
He was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church. Frank retired as a engineer with, Sydney Steel Corporation. He was a veteran of the Second World War, who served in many countries overseas.
Frank is survived by his wife, Mary (Bartlett); daughter, Elizabeth Allen, Sydney; son, Kenneth, Sydney; sister, Georgie MacGibbon, Sydney; a brother, Angus (Alberta) Ferguson, Sydney; and grandchildren, Ryan Ferguson, Jordan Ferguson and Lee Allen.
He was predeceased by a sister, Catherine Ferguson, and triplets in infancy Annie, George and Fraser Ferguson.
Visitation will be held Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Sydney Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will take place Wednesday, March 23 at 2 p.m. in Westminster Presbyterian Church, Sydney, with Pastor Kevin Richardson officiating. Interment in Riverside Cemetery.
