Passed peacefully away on July 13, 2009 at the Extendicare-York Nursing Home in Sudbury, ON, Russell Allen at the age of 66. He leaves to mourn his four brothers: Max (Cassie), Reg (Jean), Don (Pauline) and Calvin (Donna), six sisters: Beulah (Lorne) Murley, Ina (George) Earle, Shirley Dicks, Jean (Eugene) Hamlyn, Linda Coombs (Ira Gillam) all of Corner Brook, Rhonda Porter, of Nova Scotia as well as numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. He is predeceased by his parents Elijah Allen (1996) and Eileen (nee Snooks) (1955), brothers-in-law Jack Coombs and John Dicks, infant brother Daniel. Memorial service will be held on Friday July 24, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel 167 Country Road. Interment will follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road.
