The death of Gerald Boucher of Oromocto, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Sunday, March 20th, 2011. He was the son of Alfred and the late Madeline (Romo) Boucher and husband of Elizabeth Gagne. Gerry will be sadly missed by many. He was a wonderful husband and father and an especially great friend to all who knew him. He always lent a helping hand to anyone in need. He also enjoyed collecting stamps and hockey cards. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Elizabeth and his son, Christopher S. both of Oromocto. He also leaves behind his father, Alfred; brothers, Allan, Francis, Thomas and Norman Boucher all of Nova Scotia; sisters, Thresa Kelly and Carol Seqera of Nova Scotia as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Madeline and brother, Lauire.
Visitation will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home, 108 Winnebago Street (357-5100) on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Thursday, March 24th, 2011 at 11:00 am with Rev. Ken Weir officiating. Interment will take place privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in Gerry’s honor may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
