McNAY, Brian of Prince Albert, SK passed away with his family by his side at St. Paul’s Hospital, Saskatoon, SK on July 21, 2009. Brian was born to John and Isla McNay in Smooth Rock Falls, ON on June 19, 1946. He moved to Prince Albert in 1968 when the Pulp Mill opened and worked there as a Stationary Engineer until his retirement in 2001. He met Rose Georget of Domremy who was also working in Prince Albert. They were married in 1969, settling in Prince Albert. They moved their family to live in the Domremy area in 1976, moving back to Prince Albert in 1999. Brian loved spending time in their back yard pool. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Brian and Rose did a lot of traveling to far destinations as well as to many different sports events throughout Canada. This traveling continued as their grandchildren became involved in dancing and sports. He was very proud to watch whatever they were involved in. Left to mourn his untimely passing and cherish his memory are his loving family, his wife, Rose; son Kevin (Brandi) and their two sons, Brayden and Eric; daughter, Sherry (Denis) Doderai and their daughters, Kayla, Isla, Lexi and Laura; four brothers, Glen (Anne), Lorne (Sandy), Allan (Julie) and Gary (Bonnie); his five sisters, Linda (John) Nikituik, Elaine Shier, Jane (Kim) Browne, Bonnie (Barry) McKnight and Wendy Coumbs; numerous nieces and nephews, He was predeceased by his parents, one brother, Bob; two sisters, Colleen (Tom) Belanger and Gail (John) Mason; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Remi and Aline Georget. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, Domremy, SK on Friday, July 24, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Tru Le officiating. Cremation will follow with Inurnment at a later date. If friends so wish, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be graciously accepted by the family.
