Born on July 29, 2009, 1946, passed away after a brief battle with cancer on July 22, 2009, with family by her side. Florence was known for being one of the first ladies to drive cab in Moose Jaw. During her retirement years, she enjoyed playing bingo and going for coffee with friends. She is predeceased by her parents, Peter and Ruth Mitchell, and by her husband, Dayton Stone. Left to mourn are her daughters Mary (Terry) Beattie, Rose (Murray) Clace, grandchildren Stephanie (Jay) Dillan, Ryan Beattie, Samantha and Jennifer Clace, and her brothers Albert Mitchell and Robert (Spring) Mitchell. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Rosedale Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Humane Society of Moose Jaw, would be appreciated. “We will miss you.
