The death occurred at Moncton City Hospital on Monday, March 21, 2011, and peacefully surrounded by her loving family, of Erma (Beairsto) Hickey of Darnley. Born in South Kildare, daughter of the late John and Beatrice (Arthur) Beairsto. Wife of James Hickey Jr., Mother of Gary (Maria) Hickey, Myles (Cheryl) Hickey and Marsha (Kevin) Nettle. Grandmother of Ryan, Olivia, Michelle, Andrea, Matthew, Ian and Haden. Sister of Preston (Dorothy) Beairsto and Ivan (Gertrude) Beairsto. Sister-in-law of Myra Chadwick, Luelle Owen, Marion Hickey and Mary Hickey. Also survived by many well-loved aunts, uncle’s, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by daughter Sandra Rose Hickey and many special brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment later in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley.
