Judith "Judy" Calder, aged 64, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Springhill on Sunday, March 20, 2011.

Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of Margaret (Venus) Harrison of Springhill and the late Percy Harrison.

Judy loved her family, especially her 3 grandchildren.She will be deeply missed by her mother, her daughters Rhonda (Kevin) Rideout, Springhill and Candy (Kevin Leuchter) Calder, Springhill; 3 grandchildren, Mitchell, Carley and Nicholas; brothers, David (Heather), Michael (Linda); sisters, Debbie (Brian) Guthro, Bonnie (Bernard) St. Peter, Kathy (Keith) Dowe, Kim (Mike) MacPherson, all of Springhill and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister Linda Snowdon.

Arrangements have been entrusted to A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane St, Springhill (902-597-2361) where visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 2 pm, Chaplain Max Snow officiating. Burial will take place in the spring at the Hillside Cemetery, Springhill.
