Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, July 21st, 2009, surrounded by her loving family, Angela Frances Woods, aged 88 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Robert (1981), parents Isabel and Leo Layman, sisters Bridget Shute and Irene Layman, brothers: Patrick, Michael, Leo, Gregory and John. Left to mourn with broken hearts her much adored son Rick and her cherished daughters, Joan and Anne. Lovingly remembered by her brothers: Wally and Ern (Carrie); her sisters: Gen Adams, Kay Mayo (Frank) and Isabel Layman; furry companion Fluffy; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Thanks to Dr. Tanweer Azher and his medical team for their excellent care as well as the nursing staff of 7th Floor East. A special thank you to Dr. Anthony Tam for his kindness, compassion and tender loving care. Special thanks to Father Morrissey, Father Slattery, Father Roche and Sister Marion Grace for their prayers and blessings throughout her illness. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home on LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Wednesday, July 22nd from 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, July 23rd from 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial on Friday, July 24th, at 9:30 a.m. from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist.
