Jennifer Patricia Logan, age 31, of Port Hawkesbury and formerly of MacLellan’s Brook, Pictou Co. passed away suddenly on Wednesday July 22, 2009 at home.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of Calvin and Irene (MacDonald) Logan of MacLellan’s Brook.
Jennifer grew up in MacLellan’s Brook and had graduated from New Glasgow High School. She was an employee with the Royal Bank, having worked in Bridgewater and had been transferred to Port Hawkesbury 2 years ago.
Animals played an important part in Jennifer’s life. Cooper, Phil, Cliff and Morgan were thought of as her family.
Jennifer enjoyed listening to music, the outdoors and gardening.
Surviving are her parents, Calvin and Irene Logan, of MacLellan’s Brook; a sister, Jaclyn Logan (Rich Wheeler) of Riverton; paternal grandmother, Rena Logan, New Glasgow; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by paternal grandfather Calvin James Logan; maternal grandparents Charles (Al) and Alice MacDonald.
The family will receive visitors from 7-9 p.m. today in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. John Roy officiating. Burial will be in the Castle Hill Cemetery.
