Harris Munden Buffett, 80, passed away peacefully at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, on July 22nd, 2009. Born October 20, 1928 in Belleoram, Newfoundland, Harris was the son of the late Cyril and Eleanor Buffett. He was also predeceased by his wife, Jean Helen Buffett; brother, Gerald and sister, Gladys. Left with loving memories are his son, David of Halifax; daughters: Agnes (John) Greer of Halifax, Donna (Jim) Johnston of Toronto, ON; grandchildren: Adam, David, Kathleen. He is also survived by his brothers: Rupert (Gladys) of Dartmouth, NS, Gordon (Verna), George (Brenda) of Corner Brook; sisters: Winnie Evans, Eleanor (Lloyd) Anstey, Joyce (Eric) Borden, Maxine (Ray) Gushue, all of Corner Brook; numerous nieces and nephews and his loving companion, Elsie Carter of Gander and her children: Don, Bob, Debbie and their families. A memorial service will be held Monday, July 27th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from Emmanuel Anglican Church, Halifax, NS. Inurnment at Oakridge Memory Gardens, Lower Sackville, NS.
