PIERCEY, Garfield – Passed peacefully away at The Caribou Memorial Veteran’s Pavilion on Friday, October 24, 2008, Garfield Piercey, age 83 years. Merchant Navy Veteran of WWII. Left with cherished memories his wife Minnie; his children Wayne (Doreen) and Sandra (Max); his grandchildren Sandy (Todd), Angie (Todd), Julie (Dana) and Justin; great-grandchildren Grant and Brett, as well as many other relatives and friends. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the wonderful staff of the Veteran’s Pavilion for all the care and support they provided over the passed ten months. Also, to the staff of the Kidney Dialysis Units at the Health Sciences Complex, and most recently, at the Waterford Hospital. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Port Rexton.
