Colleen Doris Jardine of (Penniac) Fredericton passed away peacefully on March 25, 2011 at the Shannex Thomas Hall. She was born in Chatham, NB; she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Beatrice Moore (Mosher).
Colleen was a loving wife, mother, nana and great nana. She was also a nana to the many foster children in her daughter’s home, member of the Morning Gate Church, and enjoyed quilting with her sisters. Her life purpose was taking care of her family
She is survived by her loving husband Robert Jardine, their children, Gerald Jardine (Coleen), Terry Jardine (Tina), Heather Matchett (Brad), Joanne Neal-Bell (Hedley), Bradley Jardine (Jenny Gibson), Cheryl Hay (Allan Whitney), sisters, Eleanor Corning, Shirley Manderville, Maureen Moore, Brothers, Richard Moore and David Moore, 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
There will be no visitation. A Celebration of Colleen’s life will be held at the Morning Gate Church on Sunday March 27, 2011 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Patrick Halferty and Rev. Norman Whitney. Reception to follow.
