CREASER, Evelyn Gertrude - 90, formerly of Coldbrook, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2011 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Aylesford, Kings County, she was a daughter of the late Marshall and Mary (Seamone) Manthorne. She was employed as a seamstress for many years at the Creaser Factory in Bridgewater. She later dedicated her life to her family and caring for seniors. She is survived by three daughters, Marilyn Millett (Donald Oakes), Nictaux; Flora Pizzo, Berwick; Joanne (Greg) Whynot, West LaHave; 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Harry Shaw; second husband, Lawrence Creaser; brothers, Gordon and John. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. There was no visitation, by request. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Salvation Army.
