IVANY-GEARY, Athena Mae– Passed peacefully to begin her final journey on March 15, 2011, from her home in Florida, Athena Mae Ivany-Geary, She is predeceased by her parents Robert and Effie Ivany, sister Frances, brothers Walter, Arch, and Warrick and husband Alfred Geary. Left with loving memories are her daughter, Susanne; sons: Edward and Alfred; sister Mabel Kean (Abram), many relatives and friends in Newfoundland, and a dear friend, Angie Varassi of Florida. Her wit, humour, and special relationship will be sadly missed by her special nephew, Keith Kean of St. John’s and special niece, Barbara Barter (Gerald) of Burgeo. She will be always remembered, always loved.
