On Friday, March 25, 2011, Inez Margaret Thomas of Fredericton passed away peacefully at The Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital at age 81. Born in Green Hill, NB, she was the daughter of the late Annie Clayton. Inez was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and cook. She is survived by her two daughters, Valerie Hastings and Ina Nicholson (Clifford); two sons Clayton Thomas (Guylaine) and Kyle Thomas (Patricia); grandchildren, Robby, Annette, Kerrie Anne, Doug Barrett, Ryan Scott and Mitch, Tyra, Turrell Thomas, Austin Gillespie and Caleb Gillespie; 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place 6 to 9 PM on Monday, March 28, 2011 at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton. A service will be held at 2:00 PM on March 29, 2011 at the Hillcrest United Church in Stanley with Wally Ellis officiating. Interment to take place in the Hillcrest United Church Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Wayne, Philip, Troy, Mitchell Thomas, Robby Barrett and Ryan Scott.
