Peacefully at her late residence, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, July 26, 2009, of Mrs. Phyllis J. (nee Parker) MacLeod of Hartsville, age 67 years. Much loved wife of Roderick “Roddy” MacLeod and dear mother of Diane (James) Boswall of Frenchfort, Jamie (Vicki) of Cornwall, Carolyn (Joe) Mooney of Charlottetown, Andrew (Natalie) of Mermaid and Anita (Graham) MacDougall of Hartsville. She is survived by 12 loving grandchildren, Andrew, Ian and Meghan Boswall, Katie and Alex MacLeod, Emily and Rachel McDonald, Jack and Emma MacDougall and Anna, Daniel and Ellen MacLeod; also her brothers and sisters, Edgar (Gertrude) Parker of Borden, Donald Parker of North Wiltshire, Dorothy Ann (Norman) DeWolfe of Dartmouth, Margaret (Breck) Rolfe of Oxford, N.S.; Allan (Colleen) Parker of Mill River East, Lloyd (Kim) Parker of Fall River, N.S.; Harold (Della) Parker of North Milton; sister-in-law, Marilyn (Billy) Kennedy of Stanchel, and many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home for visitation on Monday evening 6-9 p.m. only. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday afternoon at Hartsville Presbyterian Church at 2 p.m. Interment later in the church cemetery.
