Of Carbonear, who passed away suddenly at the Miller Centre in St. John’s on Sunday, March 27, 2011. Mr. Harrington was 70 years old. He leaves to mourn his loving family: wife Margaret Harrington; children Sheila (David) Henderson, Michael Harrington and Rodney (Apryl) Harrington; grandchildren Ian, Claire, Brian, Stella and Elliott; sisters Margurite Harrington and Angela Murry; nieces and nephews Joe (Lisa Duford) Furlong, Bill (Alice Bridgeman) Furlong, John (Denise) Furlong, Angela (John) Ennis and Gerry (Sandra) Hull. Predeceased by parents John and Margaret Harrington, sister Ann (Austin) Hull, Mary (Jack) Furlong, Agnes Harrington, brother-in-law Michael Murry. The Funeral Mass will take place at St. Patrick's R.C. Church and Cemetery, Carbonear on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 2 p.m. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, Powell Drive, Carbonear between the hours of Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. - 12 noon, 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., Wednesday 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
