Jack passed away March 9, 2011, at The Gillis House, Merritt, B.C. He is survived by his three children, Douglas (Karin), White Rock, B.C., Robert (Maureen), Merritt, B.C., and Susan Hunter (Beatty), New Hampshire; 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and brother, Ross Lisle. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Muriel.
Jack was born January 2, 1917 in Ontario. During the war he enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force and was stationed in Clinton, Ontario where he taught radar. Following the war he moved to Montreal where he worked as an electrical engineer. After retirement he moved to P.E.I. where he lived until December 2009 at which time he moved to Merritt, B.C., to be closer to his sons.
A memorial service will be held at a future time yet to be determined.
