Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, on Saturday July 25, 2009, Evelyn Rideout aged 93 years of Clarenville, formerly of Bell Island. Predeceased by husband Bert; son Malcolm; grandsons Robert and Blair; great grandson Zachary. Left with fond and loving memories her daughter Ethel Diamond (Mac); son Major Harold (Lily); daughter in law Gloria Rideout; sister Una Kitchen; brother Arthur Blackmore (Edna); 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at 11 a.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Clarenville, with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road, St. John’s.
