Lila Pelrine
Pelrine, Lila May - 83 of the Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow formerly of Walkerville passed away March 28, 2011 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Trenton, she was a daughter of the late Harry Lee and Ida (Feltmate)Vincent.
She was a resident of the Glen Haven Manor for the past 3 years having previously lived in Walkerville.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by her children: Carol (Freddy) Colwell, Dartmouth; her special angel Peggy (Blackie) Barnett, Trenton; Norma Murray (Bobby), Scotsburn; Barbara (Steve) Gallant, PEI; Martha (Blaine) Debaie, Dartmouth; Donnie Pelrine, Dartmouth; Juanita (Alfie) Polley, Trenton; Yvonne (Charlie) Baillie, Trenton; Wayne (Joelle) Pelrine, Trenton; Bobby, Ontario; 17 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild Mackenzie, sisters: Anna Worthylake, Trenton; Blanche Carter, Pinetree; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years Jeff Pelrine, brothers, Dave and Don and a grandson Billy Murray.
Her remains will rest in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow for visiting from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm Thursday.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am Friday from St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church with Father Gary MacPherson presiding.
Reception to follow in the parish hall. Burial will take place at a later date in Holy Cross Cemetery.
