It is with great sadness that the family of the late MARGARET S. MATTERFACE of Boat Harbour announces her passing at The Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Sunday March 27, 2011 at the age of 85. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Husband Gerald of 66 years; Sons Manse (Loretta) of Fortune and Almon (Alice) of Garnish; Daughters Grace (Philip) Smith of Red Harbour, Joan (Fred) Forsey of Fortune, and Mae (Russell) Cake of Fortune; 11 Grandchildren; 14 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Sons Aubrey and Morley; Sisters Jane and Mary; and Brothers Emmanuel and Edward. Funeral Service took place on Wednesday March 30, 2011 at 2:00pm at the United Church in Boat Harbour. Interment followed at the United Cemetery in Boat Harbour. In Margaret’s memory, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice or flowers gratefully accepted.
