It is with great sadness that the family of the late ROY VICTOR HARRIS of Jacques Fontaine announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Thursday March 24, 2011 at the age of 75. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Wife Maude of 52 years; Son Victor (Mary Kearley) of Jacques Fontaine; Daughters Gloria (Kelvin) Thorne of Fortune, and Connie (David) Crowley of Fort MacMurray; Sisters Shirley Burry of Toronto and Ruby (Fred) Rose of Fortune; Brother Roland (Carrie) Harris of Brampton, ON.; 2 Grandchildren Christopher and Shantelle; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Parents Thomas & Sarah Jane Harris, Brother Philip and Brother-in-law Gerald Burry. Funeral Service took place on Tuesday March 29, 2011 at 2:00pm from St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Jacques Fontaine. Inurnment followed at the Anglican Cemetery in Jacques Fontaine. In Roy’s memory, donations may be made to St. Paul’s Anglican Church or flowers gratefully accepted. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Wiseman’s Funeral Homes.
