It is with great sadness that the family of the late MARY SELINA THORNHILL of Fortune announces her passing at her home in Grand Bank on Friday March 25, 2011 at the age of 80. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Son Bert (Mary) of Corner Brook; Daughters Ruth (Carl) Pope of Grand Bank, Marjorie (Clayton) Welsh of Grand Bank, Henrietta “Net” (Eli) Hillier of Grand Bank, and Eileen Herridge(Charlie) of Hamilton, ON.; Sister Melita Mavin of Fortune; Brother George Price of Grand Bank; 8 Grandchildren; 6 Great-Grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Husband George.
Funeral Service took place on Monday March 28, 2011 at 2:00pm from the United Church in Fortune. Interment followed at the United Church Cemetery in Fortune. In Mary’s memory, flowers are gratefully accepted.
