SULEY, George Edward — Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle on October 24, 2008 at Carbonear Hospital, George Suley aged 81 years of Whitbourne. Predeceased by his son Calvin George Suley and his brothers Joseph and Arthur Suley. Left with many wonderful memories his beloved wife of 58 years Mavis. Three daughters; Sandra Russell (Dereck), Marilyn Rees (Irwin), Rhonda Fowler (Calvin) and his son Terrence (Faith); six grandchildren; Craig Russell (Trudy), Stephen Russell (Sarah), Gillian Suley (Andy) Terry Suley, Christopher Suley and Ryan Fowler. Seven great-grandchildren; Megan, Noelle, Emma, Leah, Ethan, Blake and Carly. Brother Gordon Suley; sister-in-law Isabel Suley. Sister: Shirley Hollett, brother: Eric Maye. Also a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Holloway’s Funeral Home, 17 Cabot Ave. Whitbourne. Saturday, October 25 7 to 10 p.m. Sunday, October 26 at 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m. and Monday 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral service to take place at Trinity United Church, Blaketown on Monday, October 27 at 2:30 p.m. Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Whitbourne.
