October 9, 1928 – March 30, 2011. Passed peacefully away at the Pentecostal Senior’s Home, Clarke’s Beach on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, George Rose of Whitbourne, aged 82 years. Predeceased by parents, Walter and Annie Rose, sister Sadie and brothers Gerald and Perry. Leaving to mourn and celebrate his life with thanksgiving are: his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Anita; five children, two sons and three daughters: Terry (Shona), Sheila (Frank) Dempsey, Lorraine (Gerry) Healey, Una (Keith) Frampton and Dennis; eight grandchildren: Terri Lynn (Todd) Mercer, Jennifer (Robin) Gosse, Chantel and Kaitlyn Rose, Lauren Dempsey, Leah and Deidre Healey and Luke Frampton; four great grandchildren: Evan and Ryan Mercer, Dylan Gosse and Isabelle Rose Gosse. He is also lovingly remembered by two brothers: Francis (Norma) Rose, Eric (Lena) Rose and sister Marie, as well as a number of nephews, nieces other relatives and friends. Resting at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo with visitation on Thursday, March 31, 2:00 - 9:00 pm and Friday, April 1, 11:00 am - 3:00 pm . Resting at St. Paul’s Anglican and United Church, Come By Chance Friday evening from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday from St. Paul’s Anglican and United Church, Come By Chance on Saturday, April 2, at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at Come By Chance Cemetery.
