Karam Dean
WESTVILLE – Karam Dean, 51, Main Street, Westville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at his home.
Born in New Glasgow, Karam was a son of the late Sheik “S.K.” and Edna (MacLeod) Dean.
Karam graduated from Westville High School in 1978 and was a former employee of Eastern Sign Print and Bumpers Taxi. He enjoyed watching and playing hockey. He adored his little dog and cat. Karam was a friend to all.
He will be sadly missed by his sisters, Helima, Toronto; Shirley MacDonald (John Dan MacPherson); Bonnie (Mike Snook) and Gina (Stephen Hoare), all of Westville; brothers, Jim “Caldy” Mitchell, Yarmouth; Edison “Bud”, New Glasgow; Karl and Jerry (Lisa), both of Westville, and by many nieces and nephews, and several grand-nieces and nephews; as well as special niece and god-daughter Jenna Dean.
Visitations will be held on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Funeral service will be held on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Chapel with Father Evo DiPierro officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Name Cemetery.
