James "Jim" Fisher
April 9th, 1934 - January 22nd, 2011
There are no words that seem adequate enough to say thank you to everyone who supported us during Jim’s illness and helped alleviate our sorrow on the passing of a well loved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Please accept our heartfelt gratitude for your love, support, your kind words, flowers, food, donations made in his memory and all other expressions of sympathy. There were too many people and organizations to acknowledge individually even though we have tried.
Thank you to Rev. Myles Vardy and congregation of First United Church for their assistance with the beautiful service and their ongoing support. Thank you to Marilyn Avery for her many pastoral visits and friendship. Thank you to Pastors Calvin Andrews and Darren Sacrey for their inspirational singing and support. Thank you to the readers and pallbearers. To the Glynmill Inn, your beautiful after-funeral reception was greatly appreciated. We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to Country Haven Funeral Home for their genuine care, and professionalism.
The simple phrase “GOD BLESS YOU” somehow seems to be the best.
“Think of him as living
in the hearts of those he touched ...
For nothing loved is ever lost
and he was loved so much.”
E. Brennenan
His devoted wife Lillian; and his children Ida May, Barbara, Bruce, Gary, Paul, Jimmy, Glenn.
