Violet Clark, resident of Kamloops, passed away on March 29, 2011 at the age of 86.
Violet will be missed by sons Donald (Brenda) and Thomas; grandsons James (Corry), Brian (Lian), Chris (Liza), Steve, Christopher Ouston and Shawn McKenzie (Masayo). She was very proud to be called "GG" by her seven great grandchildren. She leaves her sisters Irene (Karl) and Daisy, brother John, sister-in-law Pat and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by husband David, daughter Brenda, daughter-in-law Heather, parents Jacobus and Charlotte Van't Haaff, brother William and wife Marion, brother George, sister Cora and husband Les, and sister-in-law Eileen.
Violet was born on December 25, 1924 in Outlook, Saskatchewan. She married David Clark in 1944 and eventually settled in Kamloops where they lived for over 50 years. They enjoyed living in North Kamloops, Noble Creek and Cherry Creek.
Violet had health problems the last few years and received great care and kindness from Interior Health Home Support and Nursing and Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice. Being housebound she was particularly thankful for her sister's phonecalls and her visits from Evelyn. The family thanks all of you.
A Celebration of Violet's Life will be held at a later date.
